About the Role A service-based company in Lakewood is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support their head bookkeeper and contribute to the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping Support
Assist the head bookkeeper with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure entries are up to date
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Financial Administration
Process invoices, payments, and expense tracking
Reconcile accounts and flag discrepancies for review
Assist with financial reporting and documentation as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of in-office accounting or bookkeeping experience required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Proficiency with accounting software and standard office tools
