Junior Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Accountant in Annapolis, MD.

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Assist with financial reporting and account analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
