Junior Accountant

Location: Remote
Target Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00/hour

Key Responsibilities for the Junior Accountant:

• Process customer payments and apply cash receipts accurately
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collection efforts
• Prepare account reconciliations and research outstanding items
• Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities
• Support financial reporting and maintain accurate accounting records

Qualifications for the Junior Accountant:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1+ year of accounting, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Experience with reconciliations, cash applications, or payment processing is a plus
