We are partnering with a growing organization to identify a Junior Accountant for a contract‑to‑hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an early‑career accounting professional looking to gain hands‑on experience, develop core accounting skills, and transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and post journal entries under supervision
Support month‑end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with data validation
Collaborate with accounting and finance team members on ad hoc projects
Utilize Excel and accounting systems to organize and analyze financial data
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business (required)
Internship, co‑op, or entry‑level accounting experience preferred
Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to accounting software is a plus
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
