Schedule: Monday-Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed
Pay Range: $26-30/hour (Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications in line with company pay practices).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice review and payment preparation
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
  • Support accounts receivable and cash application activities as needed
  • Review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance
  • Assist with vendor setup and maintenance
  • Help track accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
  • Prepare reports and schedules for audits and management review
  • Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries
  • Support special projects and other accounting duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
  • Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience
  • Experience with reconciliations and journal entries
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Acumatica is a plus

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. 
  • Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, or crouch for extended periods
  • Exposure to warehouse environment conditions (noise, dust, moving equipment, temperature fluctuations)
