Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant
- The Junior Accountant will process and record daily accounting transactions in the company’s accounting software
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice and payment processing
- Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and preparation of financial reports
- Provide support for audits and participate in special accounting projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications for the Junior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial statements
Salary: $45,000-$50,000
