Overview
Our company is growing at an unprecedented rate, and we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Maintain and record fixed assets
- Prepare and file local compliance reporting as required
- Act as a liaison with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 2+ years of related accounting experience
- Hands-on experience working with general ledger accounts
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with vendors and internal teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS accounting environments
