Overview Job Description: Junior Analyst – AI & Operational ReportingJob Title: Junior Analyst – AI & Operational ReportingLocation: The Hive — Sandy, UT 84070 (must work on-site on Sandy, UT)Reports to: Head of AIEmployment Type: Hourly, non-exempt (full-time)Responsibilities Operational Reporting & AnalyticsBuild, maintain, and enhance operational reports across sales, service, and agency performanceAnalyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvementWork with stakeholders to define reporting needs and translate them into dashboards or outputsLeverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate analysis, reporting, and workflow automationAssist in developing lightweight AI-driven workflows to improve reporting efficiencyContinuously explore new tools and methods to enhance productivity and output qualityData Management & QualityAssist in cleaning, structuring, and validating data from multiple internal sourcesIdentify inconsistencies or duplication in reporting data and propose solutionsSupport ongoing improvements to data pipelines and reporting accuracyBusiness CollaborationPartner with operations, sales leadership, and other teams to support decision-makingTranslate data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholdersDevelop a working understanding of insurance operations and key performance metricsQualifications Education & Experience0–3 years of experience in analytics, reporting, operations, or related fieldStrong proficiency in Excel or Google SheetsBasic understanding of data analysis concepts (aggregations, trends, KPIs)Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar)Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain data simplyExposure to SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plusBasic understanding of insurance or financial services is a plusKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience working with large datasets or operational reportingCuriosity about AI and automation in business workflowsAbility to learn new tools and technologies quicklyStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSuccess MetricsAccuracy and timeliness of operational reportingAbility to identify insights that drive measurable operational improvementsEffective use of AI tools to increase speed and efficiencyStakeholder satisfaction and trust in reporting outputsWorking Conditions This is an in-office-based role with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.Must be able to pull or lift up to 15 pounds at times and may require extended hours during peak renewal periods.#J-18808-Ljbffr
