Internship Overview

Allen Lund Company is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Junior Analyst Compliance Intern to dive into the fast-paced world of logistics risk management, fraud prevention, and carrier onboarding! Reporting directly to our Carrier Compliance Manager, this internship gives you a front-row seat to the technology, investigative checks, and financial verification that keep nationwide freight moving smoothly.

What You'll Learn & Do

• Master Modern Logistics Tech: Gain hands-on experience navigating industry platforms like Highway, Carrier411, SAFER, MOTUS and our custom ALX system.
• Onboard Carrier Partners: Learn how to evaluate, verify, and seamlessly onboard new transportation carriers to ALC’s national network.
• Conduct Risk & Safety Evaluations: Develop investigative analytical skills by checking vehicle registrations, insurance certificates, FMCSA safety ratings, and authority compliance to safeguard company operations.
• Collaborate & Solve Real Problems: Communicate with branch offices, carrier partners, and internal pods to resolve day-to-day questions and keep logistics supply chains clear.
• Tackle Special Team Projects: Assist Carrier Compliance Analysts with high-priority team initiatives, acquiring broad exposure to operations across the company.

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
• Eager to learn, with a healthy curiosity for solving problems and uncovering details.
• Strong digital literacy and comfort learning new software systems (Google Workspace, database platforms, OCR software).
• Great communication skills—friendly, professional, and clear over the phone and via email.
• Organized multi-tasker who thrives in a collaborative, upbeat office setting.
• No prior logistics compliance experience necessary—we provide training and mentorship!
