A well-established firm in the northeast Georgia area is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney with 1–2 years of litigation experience to support a partner leading a specialized civil litigation practice focused on sex trafficking-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Support litigation matters within a specialized sex trafficking practice group
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy and development
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Review records and coordinate case materials with internal team and experts
- Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of plaintiff injury litigation experience
- Active Georgia Bar membership or eligibility for prompt admission
- Strong legal writing, research, and organizational skills
- Professionalism and discretion with sensitive subject matter
- Ability to work closely with a partner in a fast-paced environment
