Job description

Group Description: Evercore's Private Capital Advisory ("PCA") group provides independent advice and execution services to leading private equity sponsors and institutional investors on a variety of strategic transactions across the private capital spectrum including (i) sponsor driven private equity fund recapitalizations, (ii) sales of portfolios of private assets, (iii) structured capital raise through public capital markets, (iv) seeded capital raises, and (v) management team spin-outs (vi) advise on the securitization of private capital. PCA's clients include private equity sponsors, financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices seeking to utilize the secondary private equity market. PCA focuses on a diverse range of asset types including buyout, venture, credit, real estate, energy, and infrastructure.

The Structured Capital Solutions "SCS" group is a new and growing part of the PCA business whose objective is to bridge the gap between public and private markets. SCS employs various forms of structured ABS technologies to create innovative capital and liquidity solutions for private markets issuers and investors.

SCS is seeking an intelligent, mature individual with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job to join their group as a senior analyst or junior associate level structured DCM banker.

Specific Qualifications:

• Ideally 3+ years experience in investment banking; 2+ years with FIG DCM experience and/or with a rating agency
• Experience driving key aspects of deal processes from pitching to execution across multiple debt structures, specifically settlement and clearing, billing & delivery, etc.
• Experience being the lead underwriter and supporting all aspects of financing
• Superior analytical skills and attention to detail; extremely comfortable in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent knowledge of structured ABS products
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral
• Strong work ethic
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented character

Expected Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $225,000
