We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior Attorney with litigation experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in representing clients in all stages of Lemon Law cases, from inception to resolution. This includes conducting research, drafting legal documents, attending hearings, taking depositions, and advocating for clients in court. The candidate will work closely with senior attorneys to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all stages of Lemon Law cases, including research, drafting legal documents, taking depositions, attending hearings, and advocating in court.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials, representing the interests of our clients.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
- Keep clients informed about the status of their cases and respond to their inquiries promptly.
- Participate in continuing legal education to stay updated with changes in Lemon Law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the CA bar.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Proven experience in Plaintiff representation, Lemon Law cases, depositions, drafting legal documents, attending hearings, and advocating in court.
- Exceptional research and drafting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal arguments.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Willingness to continue learning and stay updated with changes in Lemon Law.
