Key Responsibilities:

- Data Warehouse Architecture & Engineering
- Design and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions (e.g., star/Client schemas, dimensional models) to support reporting, analytics, and AI workloads.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and performance tuning for large datasets.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure the warehouse meets reporting and SLA requirements.
- AI / Machine Learning Engineering
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models (e.g., classification, forecasting, NLP) using structured and semi-structured data from the warehouse.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI use cases and measurable outcomes.
- Create reusable features, frameworks, and components that accelerate AI solution delivery.
- Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business SMEs to understand data sources and business logic.
- Contribute to data architecture standards, documentation, and best practices across the organization.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for data and model-related issues.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Strong Power BI experience
- Strong data warehousing experience
- SQL/data analysis skills
- This is not an AI Engineering or Data Architecture role.
- AI experience is a plus but is not a core requirement.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehouse development, or related role.
- Strong expertise in SQL (query optimization, complex joins, window functions, stored procedures).
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing data warehouse architectures (e.g., Kimball, Inmon, modern cloud data warehouses).
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and its data warehousing tools (e.g., Client, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
- Solid experience with at least one programming language for AI/ML (e.g., Python, R), and common ML libraries
- Proven ability to translate business problems into data and AI solutions.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Data Factory, Informatica, dbt, SSIS).
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and concepts (e.g., MLflow, CI/CD pipelines for ML, model registries).
- Experience working with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and supporting KPI dashboards.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership from concept to delivery.
