Junior Buyer

Position: Junior Buyer

Reports to: Director of Purchasing

Location: Amityville, NY

NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc. headquartered in Amityville Long Island NY, is a world-wide leader in the manufacturing of electronic security systems for over 50 years, seeks a Junior Buyer to add to our Purchasing Department team.  

Requirements:

• Creating purchase orders and sending copies to supplier, on-line / e-cart web purchases a plus.
• General expediting experience- Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries and adjustments from MRP weekly changes.
• Preferably experience in manufacturing environment.
• Confers with department supervisors regarding overdue material/ parts and to inform cross functional teammates of material status.
• Experience with AS400 and/or Mapics INFOR system is preferred, but not mandatory.
