RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR BUYER:

• 
  
• The Junior Buyer will convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and deliveries
• 
  
• The Junior Buyer will follow up on past-due orders, obtain supplier quotations, and assist with price comparisons and negotiations
• 
  
• Maintain supplier, material, and purchasing information within the ERP system and assist with new supplier setup
• 
  
• Support purchasing metrics, resolve supply issues, and complete additional purchasing or administrative duties as assigned
• 
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JUNIOR BUYER:

• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and identify purchasing discrepancies in a manufacturing environment
• 
  
• 1+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials, supply chain, or related experience is a plus
• 
  
• ERP or MRP experience, including SAP or Plex, is a plus
