Your 0–30 day ramp
Immerse in safety, Quality, and EH&S practices; learn 6S expectations.
Shadow operators on CNC process machines—rotary and surface grinding—observing set-ups and wheel changes.
Practice reading blueprints, drawings, specifications, and technical diagrams; review charts and tables tied to each job.
Begin logging calibration checks and daily walk-arounds; learn to update visual control boards and hour-by-hour charts.
Your 31–60 day milestones
Perform supervised set-ups and wheel changes within target times.
Run in-process inspections using adjustable measuring instruments and measurement gauges.
Capture utilization, schedule, and quality records accurately and on time.
Execute end-of-shift clean-up and sustain audit-ready housekeeping.
Your 61–90 day outcomes
Independently set up, operate, and maintain at least one CNC process machine to standard.
Consistently meet safety, productivity, and quality expectations while contributing to continuous improvement.
