Position Summary:

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) supporting a high priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI).

 

The C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) provides enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases while delivering technical and policy support for USAF enterprise applications.

 

This is a full-time position located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA.

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Support Configuration Management (CM) and CDRL Data Management activities for acquisition and sustainment programs
  • Maintain CM documentation, configuration identification records, status accounting records, and program baselines
  • Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), audits, and engineering reviews
  • Review contractor CM programs and CDRL deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Track Change Requests, Problem Reports, and data deliverables
  • Support Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs)
  • Maintain CM libraries, software repositories, and archival systems
  • Assist with software releases, licensing activities, and baseline integrity
  • Analyze CM data and prepare reports, briefings, and meeting minutes
  • Support integrated product teams consisting of program management, systems engineering, quality assurance, and design engineering personnel
  • Ensure compliance with applicable DoD CM, technical data, and DFARS requirements
Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

ClearanceMust have and be able to maintain a Secret Level Clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications

Education: BA/BS Degree in related field

Years of Experience: Up to 5 years of professional experience

 

Technical Skills

  • IT CM experience within a DoD environment
  • Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits
  • Experience with CM tools, version control, inventory control, and data management
  • Experience producing release notes and CM reports
  • Understanding of configuration change control processes and Change Control Boards
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Ability to enter and manipulate data within databases
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience developing briefings for management
