We are hiring for a Junior Cost Estimator opportunity.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail oriented Junior Cost Estimator to support IT lifecycle cost estimation, financial analysis, and knowledge sharing initiatives using the Galorath SEER software suite. The ideal candidate will have experience with government cost estimating practices, financial reporting, and cost analysis while working collaboratively with senior staff and Government stakeholders. This position supports the development and maintenance of lifecycle cost estimates and provides documentation, reporting, and presentation support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of IT lifecycle cost estimates using the Galorath SEER software suite
• Perform cost and price analysis following government standards and accounting principles
• Assist with activity based costing and lifecycle cost estimation activities
• Prepare milestone documentation, reports, and presentations for senior management and Government stakeholders
• Support financial management reporting, obligation and expenditure forecasting, and cost projections
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions related to SEER software suite components
• Assess products, procedures, and deliverables for compliance with government standards and GAO cost estimating best practices
• Assist with contract management support activities as required
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost estimation documentation and reporting
• Support SEER infrastructure maintenance activities

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost and price analysis
• Experience with activity based costing methodologies
• Strong understanding of GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide (GAO 20 195G) best practices
• Experience preparing financial documentation and executive presentations
• Knowledge of government accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross functional teams

Education Requirement:
