Junior Designer – Consumer Marketing Creative

New York, NY | Hybrid – Mon–Thurs Onsite, Friday Remote
40 Hours/Week | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Our client, a leading global media and publishing company, is seeking a Junior Designer to support the development of creative marketing assets for a well-known editorial brand. This is a great opportunity for an early-career designer looking to build experience in consumer marketing, digital campaigns, and subscription-driven creative.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of digital marketing assets across web, email, mobile/app, social media, and paid media
• Create and adapt graphics, animations, video, and other multimedia content
• Resize and update existing campaign creative for different platforms and channels
• Assist Senior Designers and the Art Director with campaign development and production
• Ensure all creative follows brand guidelines and maintains visual consistency
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, and Project Management teams
• Organize and maintain creative files and finished assets
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 2–3 years of design experience; recent graduates with relevant experience are welcome
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and basic UX/UI principles
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, as well as Figma
• Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and social media design is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Experience or interest in media, publishing, consumer marketing, advertising, or subscription-based brands preferred
• Knowledge of ADA/accessibility design is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple assignments and deadlines
