Junior Credit AnalystAltbanq | Midtown Manhattan (On-Site)The Junior Credit Analyst at Altbanq is a key member of our credit team.You’ll work closely with experienced underwriters and the Chief Risk Officer, gaining exposure to real credit decisions while helping support the quality and performance of Altbanq’s loan portfolio. In this role, you’ll contribute to important credit decisions while learning how financial data, borrower behavior, and risk policy come together in real-world lending. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to start a career in credit, underwriting, or risk management.What You’ll Do

• Review borrower credit reports and assist with background checks and public record searches, including liens, judgments, bankruptcies, and UCC filings.
• Assist in analyzing financial documents such as bank statements, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and tax returns to help assess cash flow and credit risk.
• Support senior analysts on credit reviews and complex cases.
• Learn and apply Altbanq’s credit policies, procedures, and risk guidelines.
• Prepare credit summaries and memos for internal review and approval.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, basic functions)
• Strong interest in credit analysis, lending, financial risk and transaction due diligence 
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.Benefits Include:
