Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a JuniorCybersecurity to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Electronic Systems (AFLCMC/ES).  The Air Force Program Execution Office for Electronic Systems (AFPEO/ES) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Electronic Systems is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.

This is a full-time position located at Hanscom AFB.  Position will travel to OCONUS and CONUS locations, including the Middle East, Currently the Nation of Qatar but other OCONUS locations may also be supported.

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Support cybersecurity and system security engineering activities across program lifecycles in accordance with DoD policies (RMF, DoDI 8510.01, AAF)
• Develop and maintain security documentation (SSMPs, PPPs, OPSEC plans, risk analyses, and accreditation artifacts)
• Support Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) efforts, ensuring compliance with RMF requirements
• Conduct risk, vulnerability, and security assessments; recommend mitigation strategies and security controls
• Manage system access, PKI, configurations, and security updates to ensure compliance and system integrity
• Provide guidance on secure system design, implementation, and continuous monitoring
• Support audits, inspections, and accountability of classified materials and security processes
• Maintain security databases, clearance records, and classified information tracking
• Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain system approvals and ensure security compliance across programs
• Support security training, awareness initiatives, and policy development

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and up to 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, OR,

• • 5 years of directly related experience

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
