 As a Junior Design Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of land development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build technical expertise while gaining hands-on project experience.

Requirements

What You'll Do

·         Assist with the planning and design of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development projects.

·         Prepare engineering plans, grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater management designs, and construction details under the guidance of licensed Professional Engineers.

·         Develop and modify engineering drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

·         Research municipal ordinances, zoning regulations, and applicable local and state design standards.

·         Compile project data, mapping, and site information to support project planning and design.

·         Participate in site visits, field investigations, and project meetings.

·         Assist with permit applications, technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation.

·         Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary design teams to help deliver high-quality projects on schedule.

·         Support the preparation and review of site plan and subdivision applications.

What We're Looking For

·         Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.

·         0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships and co-op experience are encouraged).

·         Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred but not required.

·         Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and develop professionally.

·         Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
