Junior Designer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, is seeking a Junior Designer to join their dynamic team on a long-term contract basis. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects across digital, print, video, and social media channels. The ideal candidate will support the development of innovative visual content, ensuring brand consistency and delivering compelling design solutions that resonate with target audiences. Compensation:
$35 - $39 per hour
*Potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications

Applicantsmust be able to work onsite in Boston MA, 3 days per week to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Turn project goals and creative direction into clean, effective designs that support communication and marketing initiatives
  • Create and update materials acrossdigital and print(and related channels such as social/video) while staying aligned to brand guidelines
  • Manage multiple assignments at once, tracking details, timelines, and version updates to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners (content, marketing/channel teams, and other designers) to confirm requirements and incorporate feedback
  • Ensure final files are accurate, consistent, and production-ready, with a strong eye for layout, typography, and overall presentation
  • Participate in project check-ins and reviews, asking the right questions and contributing ideas as appropriate
  • Stay current on design trends and best practices to continuously improve execution

Requirements:
  • BA Degree inGraphic Design(or related field) OR equivalent hands-on experience
  • 3 - 5 yearsof design experience in an agency and/or in-house creative team environment
  • Portfolio requiredshowing strength in visual design, layout, and concepting (especially across relevant marketing materials)
  • Strong working knowledge ofAdobe Creative Cloud(InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Figma preferred; comfort with standard office tools is a plus
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well and can take direction while working independently when needed
  • Able to prioritize and hit deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Must have both print and digital experience
