Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and desktop support.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work onsite 4–5 days per week in Bloomington.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
- Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and deploy workstations, including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.
- Assist with workstation moves, adds, and changes.
- Perform basic desktop support and troubleshooting for end users.
- Support hardware installations and cable management.
- Assist with equipment inventory and asset tracking.
- Provide light server room support, including connecting cables and assisting with basic hardware tasks.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff as needed.
Presidio is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Technician for their Biopharmaceuticals client located in Bloomington, IN in an onsite environment. This role is ideal for someone with foundational IT experience who enjoys working directly with hardware and end users.
