About This Role:

We are looking for a creative and bargain-minded Junior Editor - Dutch Speaker to join our Pepper NL team in Amsterdam, working in a hybrid setup. In this role, you'll dive into the world of online shopping to find, write, and share the very best deals, with a special focus on the travel and fashion categories.

Your work will directly impact our community of over 400,000 members, helping them make smart and exciting purchasing decisions. You'll become a key voice on nl.pepper.com, creating engaging content that informs and inspires our audience every day.

  Responsibilities:

  In this role, you will:

  • Research and identify the most attractive deals and discounts, with a primary focus on the travel and fashion categories.
  • Write and publish clear, engaging, and high-quality content for our platform that inspires our community.
  • Partner with our Key Account Management (KAM) team to create compelling content for commercial campaigns and brand partnerships.
  • Actively engage with the Pepper NL community, responding to comments and fostering a positive, deal-sharing environment.
  • Collaborate with the wider editorial team to align on content strategy, seasonal campaigns, and daily priorities.
  • Analyse the performance of your published content to understand what resonates with our audience and learn what works best.

  Your Profile:

  We're looking for someone with a passion for online shopping and a great instinct for what makes a good deal, especially in the travel and fashion sectors. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

  • You are a Dutch speaker with outstanding, demonstrable writing and spelling skills.
  • You are communicative, social, and feel at home interacting with an online community.
  • You have a natural talent for spotting bargains and a strong interest in e-commerce.
  • You have a clear affinity with travel and fashion and know what's happening in these markets.
  • You have professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • You are eager to learn about online content creation, performance analysis, and affiliate marketing.
  • Bonus: You are already familiar with Pepper and understand what makes our community tick.
