We seek a proactive Junior Escalation Network Engineer to assist in resolving complex escalated network issues, working closely with senior engineers to ensure network stability and performance.
This is a fully on-site role in Winston-Salem, NC, requiring candidates to reside in or be willing to relocate to North Carolina.
Key responsibilities include providing advanced support for network problems involving routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices, troubleshooting, monitoring network performance, documenting solutions, assisting with hardware/software implementation, and participating in on-call rotations.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field, basic networking knowledge, familiarity with network hardware, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication. Preferred skills include experience with troubleshooting tools, wireless networking, security principles, and certifications like CCNA. Exposure to vendor technologies such as Cisco Meraki, HP/Aruba, Ruckus, or WatchGuard is highly beneficial.
