Junior Estimator
My client is a full-service general contracting and construction management firm with in-house design services. They specialize in laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, energy and industrial projects. Their commitment to employee success is unparalleled, and they are looking for a strong Junior Estimator to grow and develop their estimating department.
Job Description
- Building estimates from concept through final design
- Support the development of value engineering solutions to optimize project costs
- Working directly with repeat clients (not chasing cold leads)
- Collaborating with operations, field teams, and leadership
- Developing scopes from sketches or early ideas
- Oversee and manage construction projects
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout the estimating process

The Successful Applicant
- A strong background in construction estimating with a proven track record of success
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project requirements effectively
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the construction industry
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of current market conditions and trends in construction costs
