Job Description
The Junior Estimator is responsible for: - Assisting in preparing electrical estimates and bid proposals for commercial and industrial projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes to help develop takeoffs and accurate pricing
- Soliciting vendor and subcontractor quotes and assisting in evaluating pricing
- Supporting senior estimators in developing bid packages and project handoff materials
- Participating in scope review meetings and team discussions
- Helping with revisions, change order pricing, and cost updates throughout project cycles

The Successful Applicant
The right Junior Estimator will have: - 1-3 years of estimating experience or a journeyman electrician background
- Strong interest in developing longterm estimating skills
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and electrical schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from senior team members
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
