We require Junior Field Technicians to join our company on to support a major real estate and network relocation project on site in Baltimore, Maryland



Main responsibilities will include assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:-



Outside Plant & Fibre

Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc

DWDM

SDH

IP

DCN

Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)



In addition, this role will require utilising bespoke inventory systems and will require individuals who have a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation.



The role will also offer the chance to travel.

Requirements



Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject

Knowledge of telecommunication principles

Conversant with Microsoft Office

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

IP principles and Networks experience desirable

Advanced Excel or Access Skills

AC/DC Power experience desirable

Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc¿)
