Client is seeking an experienced Junior GIS Analyst to support enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) initiatives through business analysis, requirements gathering, geospatial data analysis, logical data modeling, process modeling, and GIS solution development activities.
The selected consultant will work closely with business users, GIS teams, developers, engineers, planners, and project stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design GIS solutions, support system development efforts, and assist with geospatial data management and reporting initiatives. The Junior GIS Analyst will contribute to GIS application development, geodatabase maintenance, mapping projects, and enterprise GIS implementations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong GIS analytical skills, knowledge of geospatial technologies, understanding of relational databases and geodatabases, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective GIS solutions.
Discipline-specific experience in areas such as transportation, forestry, environmental analysis, planning, engineering, utilities, or municipal operations is highly desirable.
Experience
• 3+ years of GIS Analysis, GIS Support, or Geospatial Technology experience.

• Experience working with GIS spatial and attribute datasets.
