Main responsibilities
- Organizes and leads practices and games
- Teaches football fundamentals, techniques, and rules
- Develops age-appropriate offensive and defensive schemes
- Promotes discipline, teamwork, leadership, and character
- Supervises assistant coaches and student-athletes
- Ensures player safety and proper conditioning
- Communicates with parents, school staff, and athletic administration
- Helps prepare athletes for high school football programs
- Monitors academic progress and student behavior
