Duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver standards-aligned physical education curriculum
- Promote physical fitness, nutrition awareness, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Ensure student safety by maintaining equipment and supervising activities
- Assess student progress in skill development, participation, and fitness goals
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse physical abilities and learning needs
- Establish clear expectations for behavior, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
- Support or coach extracurricular or athletic programs as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid state teaching license in Physical Education in grades 6-8
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Knowledge of adolescent physical development and strength-training principles
- Experience or training in weight room instruction or supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Salary/Benefits
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with candidate's qualifications and experience as determined by a competitive salary schedule. Other benefits include:

- Children of hired candidates may attend Unit #7 schools regardless of residency
