Junior High Teacher

Duties • Subject area instruction • Subject areas flexible based on interest and experience • Homeroom supervision and student supervision during lunch, recess, and chapel
Qualifications • Classroom teacher candidates must have at a minimum a bachelors degree in education or have completed an approved alternate path for state licensure • Have a current teaching license (Illinois licenses preferred) • All employees are expected to act in a manner that supports the Statement of Belief for the Lutheran Central School Association of Peoria, IL, and live in a manner that exemplifies the Concordia Lutheran School Christian Code of Conduct • Expectations include classroom instruction, participation in professional development opportunities, curriculum development, and various supervision duties
