We're expanding into South Carolina and looking for entry-level inspectors ready to launch their careers in construction inspection. If you're a Junior Inspector wanting to grow your skills or someone exploring this field for the first time—we'd love to talk about joining our team. (Based in Columbia, SC, but open to all areas of South Carolina.)
The Role:
You'll learn the ins and outs of construction inspection by working alongside experienced inspectors. You'll handle daily documentation, perform field testing where qualified, and support all phases of construction projects. This is your chance to build real expertise from the ground up with hands-on mentorship as you pursue an individually-focused career path.

What you will lead:
- Document daily contractor work efforts and construction progress
- Record material quantities and support higher-level inspectors
- Collect and prepare material samples for laboratory testing
- Measure and verify construction dimensions for accuracy
- Observe work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications
- Review finished installations for quality and workmanship
- Assist with project closeout documentation
What you'll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
- Ability to handle physical demands of field work
- Full-time commitment (40+ hours/week)
- Openness to pursuing required certifications
Certifications to Obtain (we support your growth):
- Work Zone Traffic Control (Advanced or Supervisor) – within first 6 months
- SCDOT Earthwork & Base Course Technician – within first 90 days
- SCDOT Asphalt Roadway Technician – within first 90 days
- SCDOT Concrete Technician Level 1&2 – within first 90 days
- ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1 – within first 90 days
- SCDES/Clemson CEPSCI (Sediment Control Inspector) – within first 6 months
