A leading middle-market or boutique investment bank may seek a Junior Investment Banking Analyst to support deal execution, financial analysis, and client deliverables. These roles are designed for early-career professionals seeking structured training, hands-on deal exposure, and rapid development within investment banking.
Build and update financial models including 3-statement, DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses
Conduct industry, company, and competitor research to support client recommendations
Assist in live M&A, capital markets, and restructuring transactions
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations
Support due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution tasks
Collaborate with senior bankers and team members across multiple projects and workstreams
Contribute to internal reporting, market analysis, and business development initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong foundational skills in financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or early-career experience in banking, finance, consulting, PE, audit, or FP&A is advantageous
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial research platforms is a plus
