Junior IT Business AnalystClient: State of Georgia – Department of RevenueLocation: 4125 Welcome All Road, Atlanta, GA 30349 – HybridDuration: 6 MonthsTo hire a contractor to assist the Vendor Support Team with the certification testing process for software vendors’ paper and electronic submissions during the peak months of August – January.Responsibilities:Test software vendors’ paper tax documents and payment vouchers for barcodes, content, placement, and scanlinesTest software vendors’ electronic file submissions for standards, accuracy, and completenessProvide software vendors with feedback by documenting errors discovered during testingReview electronic formatted files to ensure data elements are presentTest and review web forms for posting to the Department’s websiteRequired Skills:Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or Graphic Design.Experience in the testing process to verify information meets the defined standards.Experience documenting and tracking errors.Advance Level MS Office (Word, Excel, and Notepad) and basic computer skills.Experience with reviewing and testing electronic file formats and data.Experience with software design applications for web and printed forms such as Adobe Professional, Illustrator, InDesign, and JavaScript.Experience using repositories to store information.Important Notes:DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position.
