Junior Litigation Associate
Crew is hiring a Junior Litigation Associate for a growing boutique litigation firm representing businesses, professionals, and other high-profile clients, including organizations in professional sports, in complex civil disputes.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience who enjoys taking ownership of their work, handling substantive litigation assignments, and developing as a skilled advocate. The firm is seeking someone who is eager to take on meaningful responsibility, work closely with senior attorneys on strategy, and gain hands-on experience managing matters from inception through resolution.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $150,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities
This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to develop sophisticated litigation skills. Typical duties include:
- Assisting with written discovery in active civil litigation and probate-related disputes
- Preparing for and participating in depositions, including taking and defending depositions with appropriate supervision
- Drafting motions, including dispositive motions, in California state courts
- Assisting with hearings and court proceedings
- Supporting cases through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and resolution
- Conducting legal research and drafting briefs, memoranda, correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Communicating directly with clients and assisting with case strategy and development
- Collaborating with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California Bar and good standing
- 1–3 years of civil litigation, probate litigation, or comparable litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines, assignments, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated interest in developing litigation skills and taking on increasing responsibility
