We are seeking a Junior Market Analyst to support a North American sales & marketing team representing a major overseas manufacturer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, data analysis, and turning insights into clear, actionable presentations.
Candidates must have:
Experience in consumer goods (CPG)
Direct exposure to big box retail, co-op retail, or plumbing wholesale customers (e.g., Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, True Value, Ferguson, Winsupply)
Duties
Analyze market trends and summarize insights for U.S., Canada, and Mexico
Research design trends, innovation, and best-selling items across sales channels
Maintain competitive landscape reports (brand, finish, function, price point)
Build and analyze consumer surveys
Review digital content and recommend improvements
Proofread packaging copy
Conduct store walks to document merchandising and promotional trends
Support meetings, trade shows, and general team needs
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business or related field
2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Detail-oriented and comfortable working cross-functionally
Consumer Goods + Retail/Wholesale Experience Required
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Full time-onsite)
Schedule: MonFri, 8am5pm
Compensation: $26/hr (Non-Exempt)
