·       Proficiency in SolidWorks for part modeling, assemblies, and drawings.
·       Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
·       Familiarity with engineering drawings and tolerancing.
·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
·       Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Skills
·       Hands-on approach to design, testing, and evaluation of mechanical systems.
·       Familiarity with 3D printing technologies for prototyping or small-batch parts.
·       Basic exposure to electrical components and control systems (not expected to be an expert).
·       Experience supporting prototype builds and iterative design improvements.

Additional / Preferred Experience
·       Experience with metal additive manufacturing (metal 3D printing).
·       Experience with machining, fabrication, or other prototyping methods.
·       Exposure to PDM systems or engineering revision control.
