What You'll Do

Lead general liability litigation matters from initial case evaluation through trial or resolution.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop litigation strategy and assess legal risk.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Handle depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Advise clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
• Mentor and supervise associate attorneys and litigation support staff.
• Help expand and strengthen the firm's California practice.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.

What You Bring

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission.
• Significant experience managing general liability litigation.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters.
• Experience supervising attorneys or litigation teams preferred.
• Portable book of business preferred.
• Experience developing new client relationships.
• Ability to bring an associate or established legal team is highly desirable.
• Prior law firm leadership or partnership experience preferred.
