This position is responsible for:
Reporting to the In-House Advisor for Estate, Trust and Probate, this role provides administrative and paralegal support throughout the lifecycle of assigned estate and trust files, from intake and document review through ongoing monitoring, annual file reviews, correspondence, and closure activities.
The Junior Probate Paralegal will organize and maintain confidential legacy files and department databases; assist with reviewing legal documents to identify The Salvation Army's potential interest; prepare routine correspondence, legal requisitions, Board of Trustee materials, workflow steps, and other required documentation; and conduct basic legal research under supervision.
