Junior Product Designer (Part-Time)
We’re currently seeking candidates for a Junior Product Designer position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Junior Product Designer will help translate user needs and organizational goals into intuitive, audience-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile platforms while ensuring alignment with brand standards. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of UX/UI experience, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach.

This is a 6+ month contract position paying $35–$40/hour, depending on experience. This position offers a hybrid work model in Boston.

Responsibilities:

• Create and refine user-friendly digital interfaces across web and mobile platforms to deliver positive, intuitive digital experiences.

• Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, and analyze findings to support data-driven design decisions.

• Review digital interface designs with a focus on brand standards, business objectives, and user needs. Provide thoughtful feedback and recommend solutions.

• Assist in developing wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes while ensuring alignment with brand standards, business goals, and user needs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support the accurate implementation of design specifications, user experience requirements, and digital assets.

• Assist in creating and enhancing user personas, user flows, journey maps, and ad hoc documentation that highlights user needs and promotes cohesive digital experiences.

• Create, update, and maintain design assets while collaborating closely with project teams and stakeholders.

• Stay current on emerging design technologies and trends and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

• Provide additional support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field required.

• 2–4+ years of UX/UI design experience, including internships. Financial services experience is a plus but not required.

• Experience with Adobe XD, Figma, and/or similar design and prototyping tools.

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar content management system (CMS).

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently while adapting to evolving priorities and needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
