Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Junior Product Manager with 9–10 years of professional experience to support quality improvement initiatives and Agile product development for the NC HealthConnex system. This role focuses on enhancing system performance, increasing user engagement, and leveraging healthcare data to drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

The selected candidate will develop performance metrics, design qualitative and quantitative data collection strategies, analyze healthcare interoperability data, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve provider engagement, operational efficiency, and analytics capabilities.

This position plays a key role in ensuring that NC HealthConnex remains a valuable and effective health information exchange (HIE) platform serving healthcare providers, payers, and public health stakeholders throughout North Carolina.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 9–10 years of professional experience in Product Management, Healthcare Analytics, Quality Improvement, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience applying healthcare quality improvement methodologies to optimize processes, identify performance gaps, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • 3+ years of experience developing dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical reports using clinical and operational healthcare data.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting program evaluations, designing surveys, performing statistical analyses, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • 3+ years of experience developing interview guides, facilitating stakeholder interviews and focus groups, and conducting qualitative thematic analysis for healthcare program assessments.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and synthesizing complex healthcare, clinical, and interoperability data for technical and non-technical audiences, including state-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply healthcare quality improvement methodologies to evaluate existing workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Support Agile product development by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, prioritize product enhancements, and improve system functionality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports using clinical, operational, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) data.
  • Conduct program evaluations through survey design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Develop interview frameworks, facilitate stakeholder interviews and focus groups, and perform qualitative analysis to assess healthcare initiatives.
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and interoperability data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and support continuous quality improvement.
  • Present complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Partner with provider engagement, operations, analytics, and public health teams to drive measurable improvements across the NC HealthConnex platform.
