We are looking for someone with a solid construction foundation who is capable of learning, taking ownership, and becoming increasingly independent.The right person will be comfortable working with computers and project management systems and will bring a combination of construction knowledge, organization, communication, and follow-through.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Managers with the planning and execution of custom homes and residential renovation projectsHelp coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, designers, and other project partnersAssist with project schedules, budgets, procurement, and project documentationConduct job site visits and help monitor project progress, quality, and scheduleTrack project details and follow up on outstanding items to keep work movingCommunicate professionally with homeowners, trade partners, and team membersHelp identify potential issues and bring them to the attention of the Project Manager before they become larger problemsMaintain accurate project information using construction management and digital systemsAssist with project meetings, updates, selections, and other client communicationLearn Alair's project management processes and develop the skills needed to independently manage projects over timeWhat We're Looking For2+ years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or a related construction environmentWorking knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and sequencingStrong computer skills and comfort learning new software and systemsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team membersAbility to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitmentsPractical problem-solving skills and good judgmentWillingness to learn and take increasing ownership of projectsAbility to work both independently and as part of a collaborative teamExperience with construction management or project management software is a plusYou do not need to be an experienced Project Manager to apply.
