Position Summary
Seeking a Junior Project Manager to support a team of Project Managers on construction projects from planning through completion. This role will assist with project documentation, scheduling, billing, change orders, and client communication while gaining hands-on experience in construction project management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings and documents to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assist with project scheduling, tracking milestones, and monitoring progress.
- Prepare and process AIA billing documentation.
- Create, review, and manage change orders and RFIs.
- Review project submittals and maintain project records.
- Communicate project updates with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in the construction industry.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
- Understanding of RFIs, change orders, and construction documentation.
- Knowledge of AIA billing standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction Management, Engineering, or related educational background.
- Experience supporting project managers on commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with BIM, drafting, or construction coordination processes.
- Desire to grow into a long-term Project Management career.
