About the Role
We're hiring a Junior QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team supporting our virtual care platform. This role is ideal for someone starting out in software testing who is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn how to test real-world web applications used by patients, doctors, and healthcare brokers.
What You'll Do
- Manually test new features and bug fixes across web, mobile and workflow-driven applications
- Write and execute clear, repeatable test cases based on requirements and tickets
- Log detailed, reproducible bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and supporting screenshots/logs
- Perform regression testing on existing features after changes are made
- Collaborate closely with developers and product to clarify requirements and edge cases
- Learn our multi-step workflow systems
What We're Looking For
- Any experience testing software - professional, academic, personal projects, or informal QA work all count
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to finding issues
- Clear written communication - you can describe a bug so a developer can reproduce it without guesswork
- Comfortable using a web browser's dev tools at a basic level (or willing to learn)
- A curious, "break it before the user does" mindset
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Exposure to healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries
- Any exposure to test automation tools, even if just experimenting on your own
Why Join Us
- Structured onboarding into our QA processes and test suites
- Direct collaboration with engineers - your bug reports directly shape releases
- Growth path toward Mid-level QA and test automation
- Work on a healthcare product where quality directly affects patient experience
