Junior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Assistant
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)
Schedule: Onsite Tuesday-Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday
Duration: Contract through December 2026 (anticipated completion October-November with potential extension or conversion based on performance)
About the Opportunity
Our client's seeking a Junior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Assistant to join their high-performing Talent Acquisition team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career recruiting professional who enjoys sourcing candidates, supporting recruiting initiatives, and working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
This role will provide hands-on exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle while supporting a variety of talent acquisition projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Source and identify candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting tools.
Support recruiters by conducting initial outreach and screening calls for hourly positions using established phone scripts.
Assist with Talent Acquisition initiatives and special projects, including:
Training and process documentation
Candidate experience enhancements
Employer branding efforts
Glassdoor review management and feedback initiatives
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data.
Coordinate with recruiters and hiring teams throughout the hiring process.
Deliver exceptional customer service to candidates and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented recruiting culture.
Hourly Range: 25-30/HR

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications
Required
1-2 years of recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or recruiting coordination experience.
Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, or similar platforms.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent customer service mindset and ability to build relationships.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow established processes, scripts, and recruiting workflows.
Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and support others.
Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA Tuesday-Thursday.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (required only for candidates interested in future conversion opportunities).
Interest in building a career within Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.

Interview Process
First Round: 30-minute interview with the Hiring Manager
Final Round: Team interview consisting of:
20-25 minutes with two recruiters
20-25 minutes with two additional recruiters
