Position Summary


Kick-start your career in Talent Acquisition! We are looking for an energetic and highly organized Junior Recruiting & Administrative Coordinator to support our hiring team. This is a foundational role where you will learn the "ins and outs" of recruitment while acting as the administrative backbone of our office. No prior recruiting experience is required—we will provide the training; you provide the drive! 


Key Responsibilities


Recruitment Support (Approx. 70%)


  • Job Posting: Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements across LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards.
  • Scheduling & Screening: Act as the primary coordinator for interview logistics, managing complex calendars and sending Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Teams.
  • Resume Screening: Learn to identify top talent by reviewing resumes against basic job qualifications.
  • Candidate Experience: Serve as the "face of the company" for candidates, answering basic questions and ensuring they feel welcomed throughout their interview journey.
  • Data Entry: Maintain accurate candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure compliance and clean reporting. 
Administrative Functions (Approx. 30%)


  • Document Preparation: Help prepare new hire welcome packets and collect essential on-boarding paperwork.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule team meetings, take minutes, and assist with internal event planning.
  • Office Maintenance: Manage office supply orders and provide general clerical support (filing, scanning, and mail distribution).
  • Special Projects: Support the HR team with ad-hoc projects such as research for diversity initiatives or campus recruiting events. 
Qualifications


  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or Communications is a plus.
  • Experience: 0–1 year of experience. We welcome recent graduates or those with experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service who are looking to transition into an office environment.
  • Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience required, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Platforms preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, a positive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
