Responsibilities:
What you get to do every day:
Guide scrum-team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team
Organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events
Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management
Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteria
Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs
Assist with internal and external communication
Assist product owners with backlog grooming
Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
Determine and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of the teams to deliver assigned goals
Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase velocity
Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation
Collaborate with fellow scrum masters to promote best practices
Mentor junior scrum masters
Qualifications:
Clearance Required: Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) and eligibility to obtain CI Poly
Education/Experience:
Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience
3-5+ years of experience
Required Skills:
Experience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environment
Strong understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processes
Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically JIRA and Confluence

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $134,000-$162,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
