Junior Software Developer

Overview
Client is seeking a Software Developer to plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities in support of business and mission applications. This role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions that address complex technical and operational requirements.

The successful candidate will apply software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle while working with system users and technical stakeholders to develop, enhance, and support software applications.

Core Responsibilities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions using logical and mathematical approaches to solve business and mission-related problems.
• Apply software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Analyze system capabilities, program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition methods, programming techniques, and controls to support application development.
• Gather and apply information from system users and subject matter resources to develop and enhance software applications.
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and maintain documentation related to software development activities.
• Ensure software quality and compliance with established software standards.

Education Level
Bachelors' Degree (required) and 0-3 years of experience

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Experience with C++.
• Experience using Git for source code management and version control.
• Experience with Docker or Podman.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and robotics-related software development.

Work Details
• Onsite Full Time.
• Work Schedule: 4/10, 1st Shift.
• Opportunity for full-time employment with Client.
• OT Status: Exempt.
• Role requires access to ECI information.
• Security Clearance: None required.
